Introduction to the theme

On English Day, just before playing all the exciting stall games, the students were given a presentation by the NETs about each of the 6 festivals. They listened to the NETs describe the festivals and also watched video clips from the real festivals. Students loved these videos as they could really get a sense of what the festivals were all about. This introduction activity helped the students to play the stall games as it prepared their minds to be thinking about the key aspects of the festivals ready for the fun ahead.
