Gary was very interested in his new pet. One day, when his mum was not at home, Gary took a mirror from the bathroom and put it in front of the fish.

Suddenly, the fish opened its mouth and said, ‘Hi, master. I am a pegasus. The lady in the shop is an evil witch. All the fish are pegasuses unicorns, pheonixs, swans and fairies. The evil witch casts a spell on every magical creature.’ This fish could talk! The fish said, ‘Do you want to help me?’ ‘Yes, I do!’ I replied.

The fish said, ‘Go into the mirror and you will see a forest. Just go straight and you will see a wall. Don’t be scared and just rush in the wall. You will see a town with magical creatures. Ask the fairies where Mr Fly lives. Go into his house and ask him to borrow return potion and stoner potion for us.’

Gary borrowed the potions and gave it to the fish. The fish turned to a pegasus and all the fish in the shop turned to magical creatures. The evil witch turned to a stone.

The pegasus gave Gary a magical thing. ‘Thanks for your help. This is a friendship potion. Drink it when you want to see us. We will bring you to magicland. Bye!’ The pegasus went into the mirror.

Gary was very interested in his new pet. One day, Gary thought, “What will happen if I put the mirror in front of the fish?” He imagined the fish fought with the mirror fish. “Let me try it.” said Gary.

Then he put the mirror in front of the fish tank. The fish started to look at the mirror. This fish was very special. At different time, the fish changed to different colours… “It is so beautiful!” said Gary. The fish started to dance and to sing too.

“Row row row your boat.” The fish sang and it danced with the mirror. “Pak! Pak!” The bubbles were popping too. Gary was very surprised. “Amazing!” Gary shouted. He ran to the bathroom to take more mirrors. Then he put around the fish tank. The fish danced with different mirror fish with changing colours until it was tired.

Finally the fish was dead because it was too tired. Gary was very sorry to the fish, because he was not taking the shop lady’s advice.

Gary was very interested in his new pet. One day, he put a mirror in front of the fish to see what would happen.

Suddenly, the mirror sucked Gary into it. Gary was frightened. When he opened his eyes, he was more frightened and he fell on the grass. He heard a sound, “Hi! My master! I am the blue fish!” Gary was very surprised.

Then, the blue fish brought Gary to its village. They played in the village together all day.

At night, Gary missed home very much. He wanted the blue fish to take him home. The blue fish said, “Just spell: I want to go home, I want to go home……”. Gary followed its instruction. And he slept.

Suddenly, he opened his eyes, he saw his mum and dad was looking at him. He hugged his mum and dad and shouted, I like home!” And he cried loudly.

Gary was very interested in his new pet. One day, he took a small mirror from the bathroom. Out of curiosity, he put the mirror in front of the fish. Suddenly, the beautiful blue fish changed into a giant soldier. Gary was scared. He screamed and shouted and ran as fast as he could. Whatever how hard he tried, the soldier still appeared in front of him. He said, “Don’t worry, I come here to protect you.”

After that, they became friends. When someone was rude to Gary, the Japanese fighting fish could help him. When someone played jokes on him, it could protect him. When he was in danger, it could save him. Unluckily, when the fish used the magic every time, his magic power became less and less. Also, his body size became bigger and bigger.

Finally, Gary decided to let it free. He took the weak blue fish back to the sea. He said, “Bye, my little friend, I Miss you.” Then the fish swam away.

Gary was very interested in his new pet. One day, he looked at that beautiful blue fish. He was curious to put the fish in front of the mirror. After he put the mirror, the fish could talk. It said ‘I am a magical fish.’ It turned him to a clown fish. They went to the aquarium in Ocean Park. He saw a lot of sea animals there. He saw a jelly fish but he didn’t touch it because it was poisonous. It was soft and shinny. At the aquarium, they were very safe. They went to the coral reef. They played hide and seek with another fish. A golden fish said, ‘We can sit on the shark.’ He asked, ‘But if the shark wants to eat us. What can we do?’ It said ‘No problem! The shark cannot see us because we are small.’ He sat on the shark’s back as he sat on the roller coaster. After that, they ate seaweed. It was delicious. It was his first time to eat fresh seaweed. Then, they left the coral reef. The Japanese fighting fish turned him back into a boy.

Once, Gary’s mum scolded Gary and the fighting fairy also scared away his mum. Gary was very angry about this so he pushed and broke the mirror.

Then, the fighting fairy turned back into the Japanese fighting fish. Suddenly, his mother opened the door. Gary ran to his mother and hugged her. He said, “I miss you so much, Mum.”

Once he put down the mirror, he closed his eyes tightly and covered up his eyes with his hands. He was so frightened that something bad would happen.

After a few minutes, nothing happened so he slowly put down his hands and listened. He heard some strange noise and the fish bowl was shaking. He opened his eyes immediately and he screamed loudly. He was surprised to see the fish fighting with a huge fish in the mirror. “Is it magic?” he thought. He found out that the mirror was a magnifying mirror.

At that time, his mum came home and she walked into Gary’s room. She shouted, “Why did you put the mirror in front of the fish? Take it away now!” Mum told Gary that the fish would break the fish bowl if the fish kept fighting.
